Project Description
The absense of appreciation for our own viscera could be the cause of atrocities around the world, but how do we stop looking at ourselves, our own flesh and blood with such distaste? I believe if we had a true kinship with our internals, we would be a more responsible society. This mobile explores the concept of the visceral in the anthropocene, intertwined with the earth, and all of its inhabitants. Made up of bioplastics made from agar and bacteria, found objects, metals, and clay, the mobile itself acts as a screen to expose visuals of the earth through a damaged lens.
