Rice Theory Poster

Project Description

Inspired by Kandinsky’s theories of points, lines, color, and visual tension, this study uses rice grains as physical points within a rule-based system. The same arrangement is translated through three different variables: connections between grains, color determined by angle, and central axes extracted from each grain. By changing the rules while maintaining the same source material, the experiment investigates how one physical configuration can generate multiple visual structures.
