Project Description

This project explores a visual translation system that encodes language into form. Starting from five primary shapes extracted from descriptive words, the visual elements were algorithmically transformed through a set of grammatical rules based on Richard Serra’s action verbs—stretching, splitting, bending, and systematizing. Rather than displaying text directly, the project delays comprehension and treats typography and form as an encrypted diagnostic language. Ultimately, these forms were brought together to create a large-scale clinical poster that explores and maps out the anatomy of an alien body.
