The burning of incense is considered a "concert of time." The process of the incense's decay from order to disorder (dissolving into smoke and ash) becomes a clock cycle, and the resulting ash trail becomes a visual "musical score" of time.
I recorded the smoke and ash from burning incense sticks, and put them together to make a piece of incense ash music score. This piece of ice perceives time by observing the process of ice melting from a solid state into water. The gradual blurring and disappearance of the ice's physical boundaries clearly reflects the physical nature of increasing entropy and the irreversibility of time.
