Project Description
Restless Boundaries"is a digital work that combines visual art and interactive experience. I have chosen a line from the poetry collection of contemporary Chinese poet Yu Xiuhua: "I turn over the entire night, like flipping a book page, until you get up, turn off the lights, and close the door. Transform the psychological states of "unease," "flipping," and "blurring boundaries" into images that can be viewed, touched, and felt. The background of the page adopts a gradient of deep blue and black, layered like the night sky, accompanied by subtle flickering embellishments. They are not stationary, but flow slowly with an extremely light sense of breathing, implying that the night is not truly stationary, but rather harbors continuous subtle changes. After entering the screen, the first thing that catches the eye is the title Boundaries, which is like a cover of a night, introducing the viewer into a metaphorical space about boundaries, flipping pages, and thoughts. In the central dynamic canvas, two rectangular borders define the scope of the image, symbolizing "boundaries" that resemble both the cover of a book and the intangible boundaries of the night. However, these boundaries are not sturdy, but are disturbed by unstable light and shadow. In the four corners, the blocks flickered and trembled, like faint lights or illusions at night, adding an unstable atmosphere to the entire picture.
