Project Description

This work compares the same literary texts from an except of ‘The Nightingale and the Rose’ by Oscar Wilde in both Chinese and English version, to see how they would looks different from each other in a visual approach. By mapping each word to its grammatical category on a template, which Inspired from the ‘Connect the dots puzzle’ board for kids. The work highlights both the similarities and the structural differences between the two languages. The graphic serves as both a linguistic study and a visual exploration, showing how meaning is shaped through distinct grammatical systems.
