I 3D-printed crop circles visualizing the UFO sighting counts and the most frequently observed type for each of the 10 states. To represent UFOs, I chose a metallic texture for the prints.
This interactive project visualizes UFO sightings as 3D sculptures and an interactive global map. Antenna heights and forms reflect sighting counts and types, allowing users to explore the data. Users can explore the data in real time on the web while simultaneously experiencing the same information physically through the 3D-printed crop circles. By engaging with both the digital and physical representations, users can gain a more intuitive and immersive understanding of UFO sighting data.
