I start with sketches before moving into coding, as they give me a clear direction and allow me to approach the process with intention rather than uncertainty.

Project Description

I chose a piece of text I wrote for my undergrad thesis project. My thesis is an illustration and photography book that explores how light shapes memory and how memory transforms through time. In Flexible Manifesto, I translated my text into visual form through coding that served as the foundation for further exploration. To expand the work, I introduced three guiding terms: decentralization, interstellar, and stream. Each became a lens through which I reinterpreted the initial sketches. I chose these three terms because I wanted to emphasize the broader ideas of posthumanism, that human beings are not the center of the universe but part of a vast, interconnected system that includes both nature and technology. Through this framework, I challenge individual perspectives, suggesting that memory and individuality are always shifting, relational, and part of something larger.
